چکیده
Abstract This paper describes and discusses the preprocessing calibration of magnetic data taken by navigational magnetometers onboard two GRACE satellites, with focus on almost 10 years period from January 2008 to end mission in October 2017 for which 1-Hz are available. A is performed comparing raw magnetometer sensor readings model vector values as provided CHAOS-7 geomagnetic field time position data. The presented approach also accounts disturbances produced satellite’s magnetorquer temperature effects, parametrized Sun incident angle. root-mean-squared error difference between calibrated about nT, makes relevant geophysical investigations.

Statistical downscaling of GRACE gravity satellite-derived groundwater level data
With the continued threat from climate change, population growth and followed by increasing water demand, the need for hydrological data with high spatial resolution and proper time coverage to be felt more than ago. Therefore, having data such as terrestrial water storage changes and groundwater level changes with high resolution spatial helps to plan and make decisions for water resource mana...
متن کاملDigital fluxgate magnetometer for the Astrid-2 satellite
The design and performance of the Astrid-2 magnetometer are described. The magnetometer uses mathematical routines, implemented by software for commercially available digital signal processors, to determine the magnetic field from the fluxgate sensor. The sensor is from the latest generation of amorphous metal sensors developed by the Department of Automation at the Technical University of Denm...
متن کاملStudies of Geomagnetic Pulsations Using Magnetometer Data from the CHAMP Low-Earth-Orbit Satellite and Ground-Based Stations: a Review
We review research on geomagnetic pulsations carried out using magnetic field measurements from the CHAMP lowEarth-orbit (LEO) satellite and ground-based stations in South Africa and Hungary. The high quality magnetic field measurements from CHAMP made it possible to extract and clearly resolve Pi2 and Pc3 pulsations in LEO satellite data. Our analyses for nighttime Pi2 pulsations are indicativ...
متن کاملThe Earth’s Gravitational Field Recovery Based on an Optimal Combination of Grace and Goce Satellite Data
Modelling the global gravitational field of the Earth in terms of spherical harmonic coefficients has been performed by a stand-alone inversion of a 4-month set of the Gravity Field and Steady-State Ocean Circulation Explorer (GOCE) Satellite Gravity Gradiometry (SGG) data and a 9-month set of the GOCE kinematic orbits, as well as by a combined inversion of the aforementioned data sets and 1-ye...
